Sephora University—the brand new, anxiously-awaited education center "where beauty gets smart"—officially opened its beaaauty-full doors on October 1. Adorably nicknamed SU, it's on Market Street in San Francisco, down the street from our national headquarters, and just kicked off the new school year with an incredible grand opening ceremony. There were SU cheerleaders, beauty stations with The Sephora Pro Beauty Team, Sephora-tinis with blinking limes, a photo-booth with goofy glasses and bows, a dance party, pencils, notebooks, and cupcakes sporting the SU logo—I mean, you can't make this stuff up. But the best part? SU has classrooms named after the Sephora values—Initiative, Passion, Respect, Teamwork, Expertise, Innovation—and a library, cafe, lounge, and a fancy studio. Classes already started on October 2. So, stay in school kids—beauty school drop-outs are totally inexcusable now. —Jessica Anderson, Sephora
