On a recent trip to LA, I stopped by the Anastasia brow salon in Beverly Hills. I needed an eyebrow pick-me-up. Brows are important: They frame your face, highlight bone structure and features, and are especially essential for those who don't wear a lot of makeup. I met Carolina, brow expert extraordinaire, and requested a basic brow cleanup and how-to lesson. Emphasizing that full brows are my thing, I made her promise not to strip my brows pin-thin, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. Carolina used the high arch stencil and medium ash powder to shade in the brow for waxing and tweezing. The stencil traces the perfect shape; all you have to do is remove the hair around the powder and wipe clean. Carolina administered a pain-free wax followed by some plucking, and After Tweeze Cream to ease redness. After Anastasia, my brows actually look fuller, even though they’ve been trimmed considerably. Carolina also pointed out areas where my brows need to grow in– near the bridge of my nose—probably from habitually over-plucking due to my fear of a terrifying unibrow. And a repeat performance? Even though I live in San Francisco, I can maintain my brows with Anastasia's All About Brows kit. It includes stencils, a double-ended brush tool, brow powder, Anastasia’s specialty pink enamel tweezers, brow gel, and an eye highlighting pencil. Now, my relatively au naturel brows have the magic power of enhancing my appearance, bringing out the natural beauty. Thanks for working me over, ladies! — Michelle Zaffino, Sephora

Wow...they actually look fuller, though you removed quite a bit of hair?
Also, I don't blame you for fearing the UNI-BROW!
there is also an Anastasia salon outpost at the Nordstrom in Westfield SF Center!
