Stila's Caitlin Dinkins

You may not be familiar with the name Caitlin Dinkins, but I bet you're obsessed with her work. For 10 years, Caitlin has been illustrating for Stila, crafting those stylish, sassy gals you see on their packaging. Instantly recognizable, the lithe and lovely Stila girls have become the brand's signature—and Caitlin's the elusive talent behind it all. "The classic Stila girl rendering is one that is very illustrative, whimsical, fashionable, and approachable. She should be full body, watercolor and ink, and hand-drawn with good old-fashioned pen and paper," she says. The glamorously gifted illustrator's work has been on exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England and in magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, too. Here, she transformed little old me into a Stila girl. I might love it as much as I love their makeup. We'll call it a draw… —Mari Tzikas, Sephora

P.S. Coming soon: A glam holiday card Caitlin has created exclusively for Beauty And The Blog readers, featuring our Enchanted Princess! You'll be able to print it out, fold it up, and send it out, so stay tuned.

Oooooh....Mari, hook me up! I want to see how she'd illustrate ME!

I wonder if she's drawn a guy in her now-famous style before.
