Cade, our new boy blogger, says ... Last night, I officially began my No!No! adventure. It was like a safari, since my chest hair-jungle was plentiful. After some crude experience from my first steps, I mowed down the initial mass with clippers, to make the whole process easier. (Sadly, I couldn't watch the how-to DVD due to technical difficulties.) To do this right though, I read the booklet instructions thoroughly, and learned some key things that made this first official day a success:
- Use the brush to keep the hot blade debris-free.
- Work in small sections, like waxing your car. Wax on, wax off, repeat.
- Trim long hairs down first.
- Use the hot blade for long hair, buff with the pad, then use the stubble hot blade and buff again. Worked like a charm.
- Work in a well-ventilated area.
- Go as slow as possible; try to maintain the green light without flickering.

It's hard to tell from a photograph, but I definitely think the razor was on the left.
By 'definitely", I mean pure guess.
It would need a touch test.
Woo!
Being the roommate, I officially hate the no!no!
It smells wretched; next time I will make him go outside =D
I tried it on my leg a while ago and I was unimpressed.
Regardless, I still love you Cade =D
p.s. my other comment had a typo in it. I'm really bad at that...

Wow...now I'm wondering who Anonymous is.
As promised, I'm revealing now that MY LEFT (the right in the picture) is the side I used the razor with, and the other is with the No! No!
Hi,
I've been using the no!no! (got a tester from Sephora) since October and so far I'm happy with the results. Can't stand the smell (Jennifer isn't kidding when she says it smells wretched - it does) and it does take much longer than shaving but I have noticed quite a reduction in hair density - so I can tolerate those two cons. However, that's just my experience. Several no!no! users have left their reviews at my blog and the reviews have been mixed. Some love it others aren't so happy it.
It does take a lot of practice and a lot of patience to get the skin smooth and stubble free. So do expect a time commitment you wouldn't expect with "regular" shaving.
caderageous, thanks for taking the plunge and testing the no!no!. Lots of guys have been asking me about using the no!no! and as a female using the no!no! I wasn't able to answer their questions. I am so glad to find a review by a guy that I can point them to.
Tell your guy friends to stay tuned... I'll be continuing my little adventure. I can already say that I've seen some hair follicles that haven't begun to grow back at all. And that was after the first full chest removal. I let it go a bit during the holidays, but the adventure isn't over yet!
