Tried + Tested: Smashbox Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer

Quick: What's the best invention since white bread? OK Time's up. The answer—in my humble opinion—is tinted moisturizer. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank the makeup gods for this fantastic invention. I love the lightweight-ness, the easy to apply goof-proof-ness and the smooth-over flaws magic that tinted moisturizer promises every. single. time. So when I heard that one of my top brands Smashbox just introduced Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer ($30), I knew I needed to try it. First off this luminizer is packed with a UVA/UVB SPF 15. And as someone who is admittedly lax on the sunscreen front (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know…), that's a super plus. It's also got peptides, those vitamin powerhouses C and E to keep help keep up the fight against the effects of aging. The super sheer formula is light and liquid-y, which makes for easier absorption. And once the application is complete I didn't get that mid-day itch that sometimes happens. Oh and did I mention the fact that this bad boy is paraben-free? That's great news for my mom-to-be pals. Yeah, I'm totally hooked.
