I'm back from today's complexion trainings with some great expert tips to share. Without further ado, here are some gems to maximize your coverage and applications.
-Talc, an ingredient found in many powders, is an ingredient that reflects light from camera flashes. Use it sparingly for photos.
-For down-turned or aging eyes, draw a line of concealer from the outer corners, up to the hair line and blend. This will give an optical lift.
-When opening a new container of Bare Escentuals bareMinerals, keep the clear sticker that's covering the openings on. Instead, poke about 3-4 holes in the sticker. This will keep the powder from spilling and give you more control when pouring it into the cap to apply.
-Speaking of the bareMinerals cap...the plastic-coated paper on the inside is there for a reason! It warms the minerals as you swirl, preparing it for optimal application. Therefore, the cap is crucial for complexion perfection.

I have a question regarding foundation application. I always seem to get too much on my brush. I try to "tap" it off, as the infomercial suggests, but I never seem to get it off without it going everywhere. Any sugguestions?
Try putting less powder in the cap. If you pour too much, just pour it back in the container!
Also, instead of "tapping" horizontally, try holding th brush vertically (bristles up) and gently hitting the handle on a table a couple times. This will allow the minerals to fall into the brush (and not all over you!).
After your swirl and tap, you should see very little powder on the top of the brush.
Hope that helps!
love the tip about poking holes in the plastic!!!! i hate it when everything spills out!
