the ghd files: va va va volume!

The ghd files are in full force! ghd's master stylist Craig Carter crafted my dull 'do into bombshell hair with all things ghd—a brand we know and love for their fancy backstage work—and gave us the scoop on adding mega, mega, mega volume. The secret, he says? Sprinkling layers of all sizes throughout my entire head, not just around my face. He used ghd Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner to give it boost and shine, and then waited until it was just-barely-damp to apply Fat Hair Lotion, which has special polymers that amp up the volume. (I am seriously in l-o-v-e with the Fat Hair Lotion.) For the real vixen waves, he straightened my frizzy-ish hair with the infamous ghd iron and curled it in pieces from crown to tip.
