Good Vibrations...Lancome Oscillation and More Beauty That Shakes It Like a Polaroid Picture

There's a lot of vibrating in my life.

And no, I'm not being dirty.

I brush my teeth with a Sonicare Toothbrush, clean my face with Clarisonic, and now darken my lashes with Lancome Oscillation Mascara. My parents even own a vibrating chair.

But that begs the question: What's so good about vibrating?

In the case of Lancome Oscillation Mascara, vibrations allow the formula to be applied extra smoothly, without any clumps. The 7000 vibrations per second make sure that only the perfect amount of mascara clings to your lashes and zings through any clumps. Think about it: when makeup artists apply mascara, they gently wiggle the wand back and forth to anchor the formula at the roots of the lashes and work out clumpage. Of course, when I try that at home, I wiggle that wand right into my eye. So, Lancome Oscillation does the same, but makes it absolutely goof-proof. It's perfect for those who want lashes that look naturally long, dark, and smooth.

Clarisonic uses sonic technology to literally wiggle the dirt out of your pores, and it's actually clinically proven to make your current cleansing routine twice as effective. Powered by sonic waves, its bristles vibrate at a frequency that actually naturally helps pores open and expel dirt, without irritation. The gentle pulsations also boost micro-circulation for an immediate glow, while increasing the penetration of your cleanser and subsequent treatment products.

So the moral of the story is that vibrations make an existing product - like mascara or cleansers - work better for you. The jury, however, is still out on the benefits of my parents' chair...

I wonder what the next sonic boom will be?

I'd like for my foundation brush to vibrate. I imagine it would help to evenly distribute the formula, and make my face glow (?).
