It's now one week into my one-month trial of NUDE skincare.
When I originally met with the NUDE team, they immediately picked up on my skin's biggest issue - dehydration! - and put together a skincare routine using the line’s most moisturizing products.
What makes NUDE amazing—and worth those sticker-shock prices—is the high-quality ingredients. Dare to read the labels, and you'll find ingredients you can actually pronounce and aren’t afraid to put on your skin.
The products contain pre- and probiotics, which basically means they keep the pH of your skin at the level it’s supposed to be. Plus, NUDE uses organic, Fair Trade Certified ingredients whenever possible (yay!).
Here's what I'm loving so far:
Cleansing Facial Wash
I start the day by washing my face with this gel cleanser. The secret ingredients are peptides from moringa seeds, which come from a tree used in ayurvedic medicine and protect against pollution—a definite must in NYC—and organic aloe vera, which soothes, heals and softens. It’s like a yoga class in a bottle.
Cleansing Facial Oil
Before bed, I use this oil-based cleanser to remove my makeup along with all the stress of the day. The mix of soy, olive and vegetable oils are packed with vitamin E and leave my skin super soft. No need to be oil-phobic—I haven’t broken out once since I started using this.
Hydrating Water
This is a toner on steroids. The alcohol-free formula removes all traces of cleanser and leaves a hydrating boost of hyaluronic acid from prickly pears and milk extract. The rose water and vanilla extracts give it a heavenly scent I would bathe in given the chance.
Advanced Soothing Serum, Moisture Balance and Defence Moisturiser
Put off having those injectibles for another few years—the serum and moisturizers stimulate collagen and are loaded with hyaluronic acid to lock in water and reduce those dreaded fine lines, thanks to milk peptides, fair trade argan extract and CoQ10.
Moisture Balance is a gel moisturizer made for oily skin, but now that it's summer in hot n' humid NYC, I use it on hot summer mornings.
Defence Moisturiser has all the same benefits, plus cupuacu butter to seriously soften and hydrate skin.
Replenishing Night Oil
The serum has omega 3, 6, 7 and 9—who knew there were so many! Those omegas, along with cranberry and raspberry oils, are serious antioxidants, protect skin against free radicals and give it the nourishment it craves.
Miracle Mask
An exfoliating treat that promises instant radiance. AHA’s and mandarin extract remove dead skin while ginseng extract tones and tightens.

SOunds like the nudeskincare team customized the product regimen to your skin. How can we get them to give me a customized regimen?
where are the other postes about nudeskincare?
I don't know if I got a bad batch, but I got a box of the Nude skincare from Sephora for xmas and the stuff was nasty. It smell gross, like mold or something rotten. I really grossed me out to put it on my skin. Because of the smell I could only use it for three days and I did not notice any difference during that time. Nude was not for me.
