Most people are better at filtering out hyperbole than their own coffeemakers are at straining out grinds.

Except me.
I'm that girl who believes that even though the last 15 zit creams didn't do anything except burn holes into my pelt, this next one is gonna be my miracle! It's a little gullible ("a little," she says!), but I'm always looking for - and believing in - that next big innovation - the one that really WILL change the way I make up my face.
Of course, when a product like what I'm about to show you does come along, I'm out of unembellished, demagnified words to describe it.
Fortunately, in this case, your eyes can be the judge.

Ladies and gents, what you're looking at is a mascara wand. The first ever spherical mascara wand. It's Givenchy's Phenomen'Eyes, and it's due to his Sephora shelves on August 7th (or get it online now).
When I first saw this, I ran a cycle of shocked/scared/excited/shocked. The idea is this: Unlike the bazooka-barrelled wands we've all been using since age 15, this bendy spherical wand is tiny enough to reach every single lash.
The ball is made of flexible elastomer that bends and moves to hit every lash in what Givenchy is calling The Panorama Effect. From base to tip and inner to outer - no lash is left untouched.
I got 3 seconds alone with this new wand, and with little effort, no second coat, and only one fast application, I went from this:

To this:

The wand easily reached even my corner lashes - and not an ounce of smudging.
Amazing? You bet. And this time I'm not even exaggerating.

wow! i'm in shock! i just linked back to this post.. amazing.
to be fair, the first picture is a little out of focus. which does impact how defined your lashes look.
Yeah, my lame camera skills don't really do the lash job justice. I will say this: this wand is genius. I usually slop formula around and almost always manage to smudge something. NO SMUDGES with this!
