Reality Bites: Argentina Cries For Me

Blogger Jenna Mahoney was recently in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and sent beauty dispatches back to us. Here's her first!

Days one, two and three in the city of Evita are a bit of a wash—literally. June is winter here and that means low to mid 60-degree weather and lots of rain. Luckily, I've seen all the famous sights before, so I don't feel that guilty about holing up in my high- thread count monster of a bed and catching up on cable TV. And it's both horrifying and thrilling at the same time. You see, every. single. reality show ever has been imported to the Southern hemisphere (most are subtitled but the narration is in español). Watching all of this fast food TV made me realize a lot of things:

1. Tattoo artists are wholly underappreciated. Really. They are hands down the most talented bunch of folks evs.

2. There must be a lot of orphans out there, because I can't imagine anyone's family would ever be seen in private, never mind public with most of these reality—ahem—starz.

3. We are all just a few prods away from being tabloid fodder ourselves. Here's my list:

Mystic Tan Perfect Tan Kit- Body
($65)
If you want to keep up with a certain krazy family, you've got to have an all-over (and even) faux glow. This exclusive kit features spray-on color, a deep-hue developer and a conditioner to keep your tan tops all year long.

Sephora Brand French Tips & Toes Manicure Pen ($8)
No matter the severity of the meltdown, it seems that all those Novias Néuroticas (that's Bridezillas to us stateside folks) have perfectly French manicured claws—I mean fingers. This put-in-your-purse-and-go goof proof pen promises an even application every time. So you'll have more time to freak out at others…

Kat Von D for Sephora Painted Love Lipstick in Hellbent ($18)
Kat Von D for Sephora Autograph Eyeline in Puro Amor ($16)
(This one is easy, since my newest bad-girl idol has designed an exclusive line just for us Sephora gals!) Deep, blood red lipstick and the black as night liquid liner are the must-have requirements to rockin' a pin-up inspired sexy pout and fluttering eyes.

Sephora Brand Smoothing Hair Brush ($48)
Tempers might get hot, but did you ever notice how there isn't any humidity in the Hills? I swear those girls never ever have to deal with flyaways. The brush's combo of nylon and natural boar bristles smoothes the hair shaft, and in turn, amps up the shine. And the rubber cushion tames those pesky "baby hairs."
