Sun Stats

According to a recent report in Women's Wear Daily, AKA "All the News That's Fit to Print—for the fash. set" two-thirds of American women are using sunscreen on a regular basis. And the majority of those ladies—a whopping 60% to be exact—slather on the stuff with an SPF of 15 or higher.

If you are one of those ladies, congrats, you know how important it is to counteract that mean stuff the sun sends out. If you are more of a skin sinner a-la moi, here are some sneak-em-in protection prods that promise full-coverage.

Lorac ProtecTINT SPF 30 - Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer ($30) Smooth over imperfections and protect that pretty face with this perfect for sensitive skin formula that has a shade selection that ranges from porcelain to Tahitian Tan.

Philosophy Hope In a Jar SPF 20 ($18) The cult classic über-hydrating formula now packs serious broad-spectrum sun protection for all over your body.

Tarte 24/7 Lip Sheer SPF 15 ($14) Hydrating vitamin E and emollient cocoa butter keep your kisser sweetly soft, while a patented SPF formula protects the delicate skin.

Living in Australia, wearing sunscreen is a MUST. However, I just found out that I get so little sun that I have to take 2 Vitamin D supplements a day as I am very deficient.

It is the biggest issue with new mothers & their babies being the most at risk.

I like the Lorac stuff you mentioned. It's very light, and basically kills two birds with one stone.
