AM I HOT OR NOT? The Not Very Fun Edition

Credit to Allure for finding this one: The New York Times' Freakonomics blog just ran the profiles of several individuals, asking them to rate their own levels of attractiveness and intelligence.

Cute feature, until you get to the comments section and see that some posters apparently had enough time between finishing their breakfast and brushing their fangs to post snotty things about anyone with even a pinch of chutzpah.

As Jessica Matlin said, "It's a sad day when a Times blog item becomes hotornot.com."

Thinking you're hot is never the same as actually being hot - but didn't we decide everyone looks good dressed in confidence?
