Not to hurt your feelings, sunshine, but I'm ready for fall. Actually, that's only half true: I'm ready for the new fall beauty trends. Pops of color, gunmetal gray, and most especially, dark lips.
Dark lips already debuted right here on this blog (thanks, Em!), but as an official trend, they're showing up elsewhere, too (I think YSL knows I'm talking directly to them and their inky-haired models).
Now the unbelievably gorgeous Kat Von D has her own black gloss. And because she's Kat D and she can, her version of black is more like a smokey gloss flecked with glitter.
The hue is called Gunshine. I guess she's over sunshine these days, too.

this gloss looks like it will be scary on the lips, but it goes on almost clear with a tiny bit of sparkle. what I thought was a .357 Magnum turned out to be a BB gun. I was disappointed, really. but Kat Von D is awesome anyway!
