SHOW: Yigal Azrouel
MAKEUP: Sarah Lucero for Stila
MODEL: Olesya Senchenko for Supreme
BEAUTY BOTTOM-LINE: Black Cleopatra eyes with radiant skin and lips
THE LOOK: “Smudge Pot is the name of the game backstage,” admits Sarah Lucero, one of Stila’s most spotlighted makeup artists. She’s right. It was everywhere, ready to transform bare lids into a fierce, cat-like stare. Using the original black Smudge Pot, Sarah heavily lined the top and bottom lash lines and pulled it out at the edges. Not necessarily winged—more stretched. Then she layered a black shadow over it to soften up the edges. (A great trick for those of us who have yet to master smudge pot precision!) Silky, touchable skin and subtle, sculpted cheeks let the bold eyes take center stage, as did the pretty lip, lacquered in Vanilla Mint Plumping Lip Glaze laced with a gold shadow. “It knocks out any pink in the lip,” say Sarah. Knock out, indeed.
