SHOW: Zero + Maria Cornejo
MAKEUP: Dick Page for Shiseido
MODEL: Tabea Koebach for Marilyn
BEAUTY BOTTOM-LINE: Clean skin with bold geometric black/blue shapes around eyes.
THE LOOK:
Oh, how I wish my days as a club kid weren’t long gone! Why, you ask? Because I would’ve totally rocked the makeup look Shiseido’s Dick Page created for the Zero + Maria Cornejo show when headed to par-tay at the Limelight.
Inspired straight from the designers geometric prints and bias cut hemlines, Dick Page kept the skin clean, but made a bold statement by drawing diamonds, circles, squares and maybe a parallelogram or two on the models lids. The rich color was a mixture of Shiseido’s black eyeliner pencil and Shiseido’s Proenza Schouler blue eyeshadow (launching this November), which had the “intensity of black, but a little luster too,” added Page. The shapes can be achieved by drawing with a shadow brush freehand or if you’re not as steady, stencils work too. So get your makeup, glow sticks and dancing shoes ready to head…wherever it is you kids go to these days!
