Trendcentral has a big announcement: Dark Lips are going to be huge for fall (Uh, no kidding guys).
Besides confirming a trend I already forced on my own sister, the future-seeing forecasters also believe gold is going to be a hot hue for fall. Now that, I really didn't see coming.
They're basing it off of Chanel's new nail polish, Gold Fiction, with a gentle reminder that the last two nail colors Chanel launched (Vamp and Black Satin - and don't pretend you didn't go right out and buy those, Jenny!), kicked off a huge craze for those tones.
So, gold: Would you or wouldn't you? And don't worry - it goes with all the other fall trends Sephora already called out (pops of color, luminous skin, yes, dark lips, and more. Take a peek at the video).

I picked up both Chanel's Gold Fiction and Kaleidoscope polishes when they first came out back in July. I love them both and even my mom has been wearing Gold Fiction like crazy ever since I let her borrow it one time. I actually got Chanel's newest polish Haute Chocolat from the holiday collection yesterday. I'm more excited for their upcoming "Vendetta" polish that will be released in January as part of Chanel's spring 2009collection which is described as "a deep aubergine polish in the same vein as Blue Satin". Sounds good to me!
Like kirsten I bought gold fiction and kaleidoscope as soon as they were available. Vendetta sounds amazing. Anything Chanel is soooooooooo chic! You can't go wrong!
i totally would. I actually have Dior's Gold Nugget which isnt even comparable to Gold Fiction but still a great color on its own. Anything Chanel puts out is always amazing!
