Confession: I spend a lot—I mean mucho lot, like I could have written the great American novel amount of lot—of time cruising the worldwide web looking for new beauty blogs. And unfortunately for my plans of becoming the American answer to Zadie Smith, more and more reputable ones are popping up faster than I can say On Beauty.
One of the latest is Beauty GuRoo. It's the musings of a former Elle and Allure girl named Roopika Malhotra (née Nayar). She tests products, spills insider secrets and takes readers along on her search for the perfect concealer. Her writing style is quick, cute, personal and informative. And isn't that what beauty blogging is all about?
