Spring 2009 Beauty Trends: Backstage at Eco-Ganic

BEAUTY BOTTOM LINE: Full lashes, shimmering lids, and a juicy, watermelon pout.

THE LOOK: A look that lets lashes take top billing, this fresh face shows that a little goes a long way. After perfecting the skin and filling the brows, Smashbox artist Lori Taylor added illuminating shadow to the lid and inside corners to the eye--and then loaded on faux lashes. The trick here is to add brown lashes to the bottom lashline. This adds noticeable fullness without looking too "Twiggy," Lori says. The top falsies (classic black wispies) help to open the eye as well. The result is fabulously framed peepers that exude natural femininity. Lastly, the lips are lacquered with peach and pink glosses, shades that keep pouting up backstage this week.
