To complete our Harajukey Halloween look, shu uemura's Rita Brown and Alexia Ogle painted our faces with all sorts of tricks and treats.
Tokyo's playful street glamour draws on dramatic brush strokes in brilliant shades. You can streamline these beauty gems into your routine seperately, or go wild for all five for a daringly dramatic dose of beauty. (I recommend the later for a crazy night out, but perhaps, not on a first date.)
Top 5 Tips:
-Blend a pigment-rich shadow from just below the brow arch to past the brow bone. Not only does this add a splash of color, it also 'lifts' the eye by drawing attention to the arch of the brow.

-Exaggerate the eye by 'pulling' the crease color past the lid. Use shu uemura's hand-crafted eyeshadow brushes for a cleaner, more precise placement.

-For a long-lasting, pop of color on the cheeks, use a creamy lipstick as a base. Blend it over a large area on the cheek and then "set" the lipstick by gently dusting on blush. Then, layer the blush with a sweeping motion until desired pigment is achieved.

-shu uemura's handmade false lashes are meant to be fiddled with. Take each end of the lash and wiggle it around so it will easily mold to the curves of your eye and not pop up at the ends. For the perfect placement, match the lash to the outer lash line and then guide inward.

-Don't shy away from strong color combos. A trio of three colors (in this case blue, pink, and yellow) guarantees an eye-popping gaze. Blue: Apply scotch tape beneath the eye to get a sharp angle with the shadow. Yellow: Sweep beneath the blue to accent the hue. Pink: Layer the pigment in the crease and softly dust outward.
