There's been a bit of chatter on the web regarding a beautiful Oscar-nominated actress, a magazine cover, and a computer-generated trick they call airbrushing.
Now, I'm pretty sure we all know by now that all mag covers have a little nip and tuck of the ole Photoshop wand. But what I want to know is: What's so wrong with airbrushing? I mean, I know it can make people look like freakshows from the Planet Alien, but when executed correctly, airbrushing erases lines and unwanted acne and flattens over paunches and muffin tops. It also makes arms look all muscle-y, but not too bulky. And I personally would love it if Facebook would institute a magazine rule: No pics can without a bit of the brush, which would translate to no stray hairs and migrating makeup.
Now, if we could just come up with a way to change the outfits from our salad days….
