Dylan and the Candy Girls!
On November 13, Dylan Lauren, the founder and CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar, made a sweet appearance at the 42nd Street, Times Square location. Thanks to her new Re-Treat line, the entire store smelled like a yummy bakery, and everyone enjoyed chocolate cupcakes that were passed around by Dylan’s Candy Girls. Customers got to play with the bath and body products and meet the confectionery genius herself! After we got all sugared up, we asked Dylan a few questions:
Sephora - What's your fave Re-Treat scent?
Dylan - My favorite scent is Birthday Cake Batter, then Chocolate Cupcake.
Sephora – What's your fave Re-Treat product?
Dylan - My fave item is the Candy Lip Saver Stackable because it looks like a roll of Lifesavers. It's colorful and you get four lip moisturizers in one package for a fabulous price!
Sephora - You've mentioned in the past that you love Cadbury Crème Eggs. Any plans to launch a Cadbury Crème line in the future?
Dylan - Maybe we'll do a Cadbury Crème Egg Re-Treat flavor. It’s a great idea, but then again, if you mix Chocolate Cupcake and Birthday Cake Batter, the result resembles it.
Sephora - What products from your line do you think make a great stocking stuffer or Secret Santa gift?
Dylan - They all make fabulous holiday gifts. The Candy Lip Saver Stackable is great and colorful, and the Soda Pop Shower Gel has good height that will pop out from a stocking perfectly!
Sephora - Can you mix the different scents from your line?
Dylan - Yes, you can mix and match scents. The mixture of Birthday Cake Batter, Chocolate Cupcake and Coconut Bon Bon smells like German Chocolate Cake, and the combo of Birthday Cake Batter and Strawberry Licorice gives off a Strawberry Shortcake scent.

I Love Dylan's Candy Bar in NYC, so I was psyched when the bath and body line was released. I have to admit, I still haven't tried it yet! It's definitely on my holiday "to-do" list though.
