Being an avid reader of Beauty and the Blog and a complete fanatic over all things Twilight, I really feel like Sephora’s contest imprinted me. I quickly filled a ream of paper with reasons why I became obsessed with this fabulous series. Then I read the rules. I thought, “How can I thoroughly and truly describe my love in 300 words or less.” As a hopeless romantic, I was drawn into Stephanie Meyer’s world of vampires which I read at record speed – 4 books in 3 days. My commitment to the book was noted by everyone. Edward became the “other man” to my boyfriend, whom I had to reassure that his topaz eyes were still my number one. I found myself carrying a larger purse just to keep the books with me at all times. I even called in sick from work because I couldn’t stop reading Breaking Dawn. Once I finished the series, I quickly read the start of Midnight Sun to stave off my withdrawal symptoms. I became enamored with Edward’s perspective, but I still needed more. I bought everything I saw, connected to the story. I read the unofficial guide and stared longingly at the pictures in the movie book. I fill my days listening to the soundtrack and the playlists for each book on Stephanie Meyer’s website. I have been dazzling people with my blood red nails; I started liking my naturally pale skin and found my clumsiness endearing. The news of the movie release brought a crooked smile to my face. Just in case a non “vegetarian” vampire is attracted to my undeniable scent from Sephora, they will notice my Cullen Crest necklace and back off. Until then, Sephora beauties don’t worry, I’ll be safe… I have to be I am just a little lamb.

Since I am a vampire and usually stick to such dark, vampy colors, I would like to break out of my old ways - and try something new and fresh. I could smell of something sweet instead of garlic. My cheeks could use a little color too. Please pick me!

I love these items. They are pretty vamp ;]. Plus gwen's LAMB perfume probably smell's like Edwards "Sweet" smell/breath would.
If they were to cast someone as Rosalie for the movie, they SHOULD have casted Gwen Stefani. She's pale and pretty, and it would've been pretty cool. lol.

Oh, wow, what a great contest. I am so excited to see Twilight--having read it for my book group awhile ago--and my nine year-old son says he wants to go, too! I have to wait to see if it is appropriate for him, but this is one movie I might not have to wait for DVD for. I would love these products, too, to get glammed up, Mom-style, to go to the movies. I love twilight because of the underlying messages. Twilight's general theme is that there is someone out there for you: you may not find them straight away, it might not be an easiest path to take or the most rational decision, but they do exist. That there will always be someone who accepts you for who you are and doesn't try to change you. That pure love does exist in a world with so much darkness.

I am a quiet and yet faithful reader of Beauty and the Blog, but I felt that this contest of sorts was practically made for me (In the least egotistical and narcissistic way possible...)so I feel compelled to pipe up and have a go at being picked. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you've taken the time to pick out the products that are so totally Twilight.
I was first given Twilight by my sister who insisted that I HAD to read it. I must admit that I resisted at first, thinking that I was too busy to read for pleasure. One day came, though, where it seemed that fate wanted me to read it. I came home from class with no homework, no essays, nothing to hinder me from taking some time for myself and sitting down with a good book. From that day on I was hooked on the series.
I would be ecstatic and honored to be picked--my look is in desparate need to be vamped up. I'm your average plain jane college student with barely enough money to pay for my books, let alone shell out the dough in order to get all beautified. Being picked would give me the opportunity to no longer be the wallflower, but the girl who looks pretty and put together. Who knows? It may even give me a boost of confidence, which deep down I know I could use. I may not have the porcelain skin that I so covet, but hey, vampire lovers can have a tan too right?

What an awesome contest! Why should you pick me? Um...well, first off I think vampires are pretty rad. Secondly, I love cosmetics! I even write products reviews at my personal blog from time to time. But lately I've been low on cash so I haven't really been able to score any new products. Pllllease pick me. I am currently reading the fourth book in the series. I finished the first three within two weeks. I have seriously become addicted! Which is a good thing because otherwise I'd be at Sephora spending money on makeup when I should be saving for a house! Anywho, I started reading the first book while I was on my honeymoon. And even though I'm supposed to still be in the "honeymoon" phase after just getting married, I sometimes close my eyes and pretend I'm kissing Edward when I'm actually kissing my new husband. Is that really bad of me? That's bad isn't it?!
Regardless, I formed a book club with some of my co-workers who are also reading the series so that I can actually have someone to talk to about this obsession. Never in my life did I think that I would become so enamored with a book for teenagers!
By the way...I want all of that makeup. Especially the Bella Bella Cargo gloss which I already tried to buy but it wasn't stocked in any of the Sephoras near me. And I really want the Fresh Twilight product. It looks glorious. But as I mentioned, I'm now saving for a house so no more makeup splurges for me :(

I don't need the make-up. Nor do I want it. I will not tell you my name. But the writer of the 'Twilight' books is almost right on spot about us. Vampires.
My hands are ice cold, I'm pale white, and very fast. Me, I'm a young vampire. It is hard to fit in. But we hid the truth that we are in-fact. Vampires. Everyday, I wear the darkest foundation possible. And I don't let people touch my hands, my face, anything. Because I'm so cold. And in my gym class I must 'walk' because, I'm fast. It's complicated when I have friends over, because, it's impossible for me to sleep. So I fake it. My parents know about me being pale, and being ice cold. But they don't know what it means. And for those of you trying to be a vampire, one word. Don't. Some of my fellow vampires also would suggest that you don't search for us, unless you know a lot about us. And if you find us, you best be a human that is serious about answers.

It is me again. People ask if we drink human blood. Just as in 'Twilight' a very almost true book, some of us don't. Some of us do. And by the way. Some of your neighbors, closet friends, and family could be a vampire. And I don't drink human blood. Reason being is because my whole family is humans. But, just remember, being a vampire isn't glam. And sun doesn't hurt us. In a way it helps us.
