I've had it up to my eyes with wrinkles - literally.
It's bad enough that the Fine Line Convention is being held right under my peepers, and that I have crow's feet, and yet nothing to crow about.
Naturally, I'm interested in trying anything that takes aim at wrinkles - especially when it's recommended by spa professionals: Murad's Intensive Wrinkle Reducer for Eyes just won an Editors' Choice Award from DAYSPA Magazine.
Its key secret (ok, not so secret) ingredient is Durian, which is an Asian superfruit that's earning major points in the ugly produce department. Also, it apparently stinks. But what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in sheer antioxidant power. Cell renewal city!
Besides smelly but effective fruit, Murad's Intensive Wrinkle Reducer for Eyes also threw in:
- Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-6 and Goji Berry Extract, which help rebuild the extra-cellular matrix, reducing the appearance of crow's feet while improving skin elasticity;
- Hyaluronic Microspheres, which expand on contact with water to increase skin volume, reduce the depth of wrinkles and provide long-lasting hydration;
- UGL Complex, which gently exfoliates for improved cell renewal and encourages the production of hyaluronic acid and collagen for more youthful looking skin.

Durian does stink beyond belief (I had a durian smoothie once, and the taste was a mixture of vanilla, onions, and dirty socks). Fortunately, the good people at Murad extracted the awful stench and just left the nice, sweet part. I got a sample of this eye cream from Sephora once, and it smelled delicious! ... Whether or not it worked... Well, you make the call.
