The bloggers at Fashion Indie have always been trendspotters - but now they're watching for trends that need to not happen. Scrunchies? Dark lipliner? Frankly, we couldn't agree more. Here are the top 10 trends they hope never become trends:
1. Thong leotards over biker shorts- Wasn’t a good look when Kelly Kapowski from Saved By The Bell did it, and isn’t even a good look for 80s parties.
2. Shutter shades- We know once Kanye was spotted in these everyone went crazy over them, but shutter shades were never okay, and will never, ever be okay.
3. Visors- We'll just put it out there now to save everyone the $5: they aren’t ironic, they’re ugly.
4. Mesh- so not okay.
5. Crocheted tank tops - Just plain ugly.
6. Tying up dress shirts (a la ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’)- Keep your button up shirts buttoned up and tucked.
7. One size fits all shirts- Who thinks this is a good idea?
8. Guys in flared jeans/pants- This is not the 70s.
9. Dark lip liner- Beyond trashy.
10. Scrunchies- We really, really, REALLY hope this isn’t happening.

This is a great post! Made me laugh a lot. I HATE those Kanye glasses and I am so glad you mentioned them. The other one that kills me is flared jeans on men. Yuck!
