Too Busy To Primp?

Just when I began to think I have finally mastered an incredible morning schedule- POOF! Everything changes.

Now that it's summer, I'm taking advantage of the weather; however, happy hours, late dinners, and concerts are adding up to late weekday nights and not so happy mornings. So I've streamlined the routine: Between the snooze button, dry shampoo, and bronzing primer, I’m golden
(literally).

If you have not yet tried dry shampoo, you'll forever thank me after reading this. There are many brands out there, but one of my favorites is T3 Refresh Volumizing Dry Shampoo. Just spray a little and massage it in your scalp. Have an extra minute? Pull out the hairdryer and flip your head. This dry shampoo smells amazing and when I’m through, it looks like I have a fresh blow dry and style

OK, mark my words- I’m officially labeling Smashbox Photo Finish Bronzing Primer as my #1 favorite summer product. It’s a primer and a bronzer in one - sweet! As I’ve mentioned in the past I’m a redhead with pale skin, so bronzer and mascara are musts. Smashbox Bronzing Primer is ultra light and ultra smooth on the skin and gives you a flawless look without even having to put anything over it. Want to spice it up a notch? Try applying Smashbox O-Bronze to your cheeks. It’s a cheek bronzer but it works with your own pigment, meaning it does the work for you.

To finish this effortless look, I add some mascara. To make my eyes really pop, I love MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Lash. This mascara adds volume, lengthens and even curls. Gotta love those all in ones!

Go ahead and give this look a try - you’ll thank me for it!

Great post! I totally know how you feel; there have been many a Friday this summer where I can barely wake up for work, let alone make myself presentable! I love dry shampoo too, but I'm more of an Oscar Blandi fan. I had a bad experience with T3 when I used wayyy too much. NOT good! I'm super excited to try that Smashbox primer and bronzer; sounds awesome!

Ie tried a lot of dry shampoo's and just can not find one I am happy with. I think it is because I have black hair and not liking the greyness it gives me....

Msagkittykat- you should try some of the colored dry shampoos. For example, Hair Fix makes a black dry shampoo powder (http://www.myhairfix.com/index.html). Might work better for you!

Oscar Blandi is my favorite dry shampoo, smells delicious and works great even on my dark hair. Moderation and adding more gradually is key to it working and not turning your roots whiteish.

Smoky Lash is AMAZING. Best stuff ever.
