Did you watch the Emmys last weekend? We did too...but not for the couture. When it comes to a showdown between frocks and makeup, a fine display of well-applied slap snags our attention every time.
Exception: Filthy Gossip (or any gossip, actually). And we heard a certain blond Gossip Girl went Dior-heavy, playing up her golden glow with a heavy coat of DiorShow Blackout Mascara and a dot of Dior 5-Colour Eyeshadow in Beige Messai on her lids. Oh snap, Blair!
The other look we loved? Once a Starter Wife, formerly a Grace, and now a pair of dramatic eyes set off with nude lips. This LORAC fan scored this look by using the Red Carpet Reveal Palette (Debut under the brow, Pose on lid and crease, and Interview on the lash lines) on her peepers, then followed up with a healthy dose of TANtalizer Baked Bronzer and Baked Matte Satin Blush.
The finishing touch was a no makeup makeup lip. Starting with LORAC's Lip Pencil in Nude, she smudged Breakthrough Performance Lipstick in Nude Scene plus Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Vintage on top. Love the happy endings.

Ok so I keep seeing this Lorac lip gloss in a lot of magazines and on the blog so it must be good. I will have to try it now!
