She's Ba-ack: The Wedding List

Hola. Hello and ’Member me? That’s right kids, after a little hiatus in which I had a faboosh wedding; I’m back here B&TB. I’ll be dishing on the latest bty goss., fawning over those amazing Ford sisters and wondering aloud about things that sometimes seem important enough to blog about. You see, some things are still the same—I have a tin of Rosebud Salve in every bag I own and I can’t get enough of anything Benefit. But marriage has also brought some changes to my life—I actually make more garden-fresh salads and I’m obsessed with owning a washer/dryer. And in some ways these past few months of wedded bliss have also affected my beauty routine. Here’s what I’ve been crushing over the past few months:

Benefit Powderflage Set ($28) Regular readers won’t be surprised that Benefit is at the top of the list—I can’t help it I love results! This light-diffusing, pearly-pink powder smoothes over dark circles that come from wifely worries like the possibility of having a mortgage and—gulp—family planning.

Philosophy Unconditional Love Shampoo, Bath and Shower Gel ($22) The fact that this cleanser lathers-up in seconds gets a squeaky-clean thumbs up from the Hubz. I love the double-duty usage for him and the non-residue skin softening props for moi. The name is pretty cute too.

Bliss Serious Seaweed Cellulite Soap ($14) My post wedding dress diet has devolved into an I-don’t-care-about –what-put-in-my-mouth regimen. I don’t need to tell you that such a lassiez faire food attitude means unwelcome poundage. This stimulating soap helps spur blood flow to stubborn cellulite-prone areas while imparting a yummy almond scent.

Tocca Stella Solid Fragrance ($30) This citrus-scented solid has a sophisticated (and dare I say? grown-up) feel, while still imparting a sexy aura. (Hey, a wife still needs to feel playful!) Bonus: The non-spill factor makes it a must-carry at all times. And that translates into insta- and supah simple reapplication.

Sephora Brand Ultra-Shine Lip Gloss in Glitter Red ($15) Speaking of sexy, sometimes a girl just needs to vamp it up. The universally flattering red is spiced up with a glint of glitter. Why, hello lovah. Xoxo. --Jenna Mahoney

Congrats on your recent wedding! And I laughed when you mentioned the washer/dryer- never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be so into them and, even now, I lovingly glance at my Samsung washer every time I walk by it! LOL! Soooo ridiculous! :D
