Fat Over Fifty?

How much do you dislike the idea of aging?
Enough to gain some extra pounds?
Well packing it on may be a way to avoid looking all wrinkled. According to a study in the Archives of Dermatology Journal older women who weigh more are less likely to have wrinkles. The study, which examined aging patterns in twins, found that around the age of 55 the heavier women looked younger in their faces than their thinner counterparts. (It should be noted that until the above mentioned age, the fatter women looked older). Experts say that the effect may be due to the fact that the breakdown of collagen is more apparent in thinner women. Heavier faces can have a more full, plumper--and yes--younger look.
The findings of this study make total sense to me. Good fats help skin glow and look full. And I´m sort of drawn to the fact that I can eat with abandon actually look better--eventually.
So what about you, sweets? Let me know, are you willing to gain a few to look a little younger? --Jenna Mahoney

Yes, I think gaining a little so not to look older or more wrinkly (think Sarah Jessica Parker- oh my! The girl could stand a few pounds, as her face is really too thin and makes her look older than need be). But how much more? I mean, my face tends to look thin even when I do gain a few pounds so how much would I have to gain to make a difference in my face?? Yikes, I don't think I want to find out! lol!

I don't agree with the idea by gaining weight to look younger. This will cause all kinds of health problems.

I believe it can make you look younger if you eat right and using right skin care products.

I'm over 55, 5.4 height and weight 107 bl. I've eating very healthy food and using pearl powder. I tried many different brand pearl powder, but I found only the natural pure JAJA Pearl Powder works for me. I've been using for years. So far nobody believes my real age. If you don't believe, you should try yourself. You can get this product from "emperorsherbolgist.com"
It's not expensive.

I agree with most of the others. You need a little bit of weight to counteract the effects of aging. The celebrity example is a good one. I'm over 40, thin, but not skinny. I always get mistaken for being 5 years younger than I am. It's a combination of good skin care and a little bit extra weight.
