If all of this Twilight chatter gets you screaming like Jane has overtaken your mind, then I’m sorry to say: You’re all alone. We vamp tramps are everywhere! And a New Moon has definitively dawned. This red-hot passion has been affecting the beauty business, influencing everything from fillers to makeup. In fact, sales of pale foundation formulas are red hot; they’ve jumped 200% in the last month. Even if you aren’t convinced that it is your turn to join the coven, then maybe our list of favorite foundations will entice you to get bitten:
Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil ($19) As if you savvy Sephora gals needed to know more about the finely milled makeup, the allergen-free formula and the full, yet oh-so-sheer coverage. This product keeps skin looking flawless.
Yves Saint Laurent Tient Resist Long Wear Endless Comfort Transfer Resistant Foundation SPF 10 ($55) Full coverage is this oil-free foundation’s forte. And since results are promised for 14-hours, you can remain flaw-free deep into the night.
Philosophy Supernatural Airbrushed Canvas SPF 15 ($35) Sometimes it is all in the name. This 4-in-1 powder packs a serious skin-perfecting punch. And the adorable sponge makes application a snap.
TEMPTU AIRPod Foundation ($55) Application of this Sephora-exclusive moves like the cold ones—in a flash. The light-as-air formulation smoothes over lines, erases acne and leaves skin feeling silky.
Make Up For Ever Pan Stick ($30) This creamy full-coverage stick actually comes in white. Bonus: This is totally spill-proof. --Jenna Mahoney

so excited for this vamp trend to continue. My pale skin is finally in vogue!
I am pale - paler than just about every shade at Sephora.
I am not a Vampire, and Twilight is a stupid show with a stupid book..
Argh!
I was wondering if there is a foundation alternative that has a similar look to the temptu airbrusher. I want to purchase it eventually but it doesn't exactly fit into my budget now. I tried it at Sephora and it looked so even and wonderful.
Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil is not a foundation; it's a finishing powder. Nowhere on the package does it say it's a foundation.
