AHHHHHHHH! I wanted this so badly! I was going to use my $15 off coupon but I was never sent one (my friend was though and called me so we could go to the mall lol).
How perfect to have everything you could possibly need in one compact palette? But the sizes of each product are incredible and for the price it was? Of course it was sold out.
I'm trying to get rid of all makeup with parabens and talc which has made Tarte a new favorite brand. This palette would pretty much allow me to leave behind all the other makeup I own because it's so complete!

I really want this palette because I've just recently become obsessed with make-up once again. I was unfortunately enough to be one of those girls who wore too much melting make-up in high school. In my college years I went au naturale. But now my addiction is back with a vengeance! I have the Tarte cheekstains and the lipglosses and I love them. However, I've never tried out their eyeshadows. The question isn't why would you want this beautiful, colorful, all in one amazingly stunning palette but why wouldn't you want it? I find I'm salivating just looking at the mouth watering picture, which would surely be the envy of all. To boot, it's from Tarte; the fabulous line which brought us cheek and lip stain. A line that I am fond of, based not just on the fabulous company history, but because of the artistry which stems from the amazing collection of cosmetic heaven! To say I am a huge fan of Tarte is an understatement.

My nearest Sephora (sadly over an hour away) didn't have this the last few times I've been there. I had considered purchasing this online, but I really wanted to see it in person first. I'd been wanting it because of the large amount of eye shadows and the addition of Park Ave Princess and the blushes and the lip glosses were pretty mind-blowing at the price. However, if I were to win, I'd give it to my sister, to be honest. I think she would FLIP over it. She's 19 and paying her own way through school and while she loves beauty, she has to indulge on a budget. It would be an awesome product for her. Plus the jeweled packaging has her name all over it.

OK. why would i want ONE tarte treasure chest?
recently i find myself itching to get more and more make-up which looking at me you wouldn't know because i actually don't wear a lot. However, i LOVE LOVE LOVE getting others all prettied up and it seems like i'm the go-to-girl now. I love the creative and artistic aspect of it. It reminds me a lot of painting on my canvases and what's a better medium than beautiful women? Having friends and family thanking me and telling me how gorgeous they feel is the best pay off as well. Always a plus to make women see how beautiful they are! :)

So I had last year's version of the tarte pallet and saw the new version up, but was not going to purchase it because I had what I needed. However, last week was crazy with my grandmother's funeral and around 12 people living in one small house with 2 bathrooms. My cousin or one of her children must have accidentally packed away my pallet because it was nowhere to be found. When I wanted to purchase the new one, it was sold out.
So I love tarte because it is natural and GOOD FOR MY SKIN! And the pigments show up very well. And the treasure chest has all the colors I'll ever need in one convenient package.
Oh! And silver and purple is my favorite color combo to wear :)

I live on a base. Yes a base in the Continental United States or CONUS & when I went to Sephora.com to purchase this product it would not let me order anything because they do not ship to military bases. I was first & foremost upset by the news because the nearest Sephora to me is over 2 hours north of me! And there is no way I can justify driving that far for a palette with my husband. But they would be sold out if I did now anyway lol. So I got an e-mail today in regards to this matter & was told that if I wanted to shop from Sephora online then I would simply have to go to their Amazon.com/Sephora store. Well I did go to that store & it didn't have a listing for this palette. Now I know why, it's SOLD OUT! :( I really really want this palette but I don't want to wait until after the holidays & hope they restock it. Don't think I didn't check the Tarte website either because I did & they don't have it either. So Tarte doesn't have it Amazon.com/Sephora doesn't have it Sephora.com not only doesn't have it but if they did they wouldn't be able to send it to me & I don't have it. I was so excited when I found out about this palette from one of my friends & I really wanted it but one rule we have is no one buys makeup for anyone for Christmas so I know I'm not getting it as a gift. I am full-on procrastinator. I was saveing up to buy Christmas presents for all of my family members, and of course did it at the worst possible time! (When the best-of-the-best christmas presents were beginging to sell out) and when it came to buy my Mom's present, it was (of course) out of stock. So I was forced to search for another gift. Today I was going through all of my old issues of Vogue (back nearly 10 years!), ripping out pages to save and I came across an article about Maureen Kelly and how she started the company with the support and encouragement of her husband, who died on 9/11. For some reason I missed the article the first time around, but I got in my lump in my throat reading it. I've always loved Tarte (as a company) and now that I know a bit more about how Kelly started it, I love it even more!

I just love Tarte- not only is it all natural but it stays on all day! I noticed she had an old pallet that was broken and I also noticed that the quality of the shadows she had did not payoff on here models at all. I was tempted to go home and get my makeup and do it right. Anyway I'd love to give it to KATE for christmas. I hope I win.

i had a friend who brought this over last night so we could practice doing some makeup for her wedding! i do makeup for weddings all the time, and think this palette is the absolute best i've seen!!!! please pick me for this giveaway- i love nothing more than to do makeup on those i love- especially when i get the chance to make brides look their best on their special day!!!
