Stealing Beauty: The Lash Look

After a day of presents, paella and the King’s Christmas address on the television, I took my new loot to the couch for a long winter’s nap. Instead I ended up watching a Catalan-dubbed Bonnie and Clyde. The classic movie makes bank robbing, husband stealing and drunk driving seem oh-so-glamorous. Sure, the costumes are fabulous and fitted, but the main reason everything seems so gorgeous is due to Bonnie and Blanche’s amazing lashes. It seems as though in every scene the lovely ladies are batting deep, out-to-there, photogenic lashes. And when I say every scene, I mean it—at the beach, in bed and during breakfast. The look is so completely covetable, that I have decided to raid the home store for some falsies of my own. I’m going to start off simple with the heavy Make Up For Ever Strips. They seem easy to apply and they come in various lengths and shades. So I can successful steal the look and bring back around-the-clock sexy in the New Year. Once I’ve mastered the peel and place, I’ll need some more tutoring. It looks like the Sephora Brand Lash Placement Kit may be a necessity, but I’m not so sure. Do you have any tricks for getting va-va-voom lashes? –Jenna Mahoney

I just started experimenting with false lashes due to some of my lashes breaking off, thanks to Korres mascara oddly enough! I LOVE wearing them and Lorac's Front of the Line Pro liner is perfect for lining the upper lash line to hide the telltale signs of falsies. I really like the ones the flare out on the outer edge of the eyes- BEAUTIFUL and flirty. :)
