The Pheromone Files: Is Attraction Fake-able?

Forget roses and poetry. The "scent of attraction" is the romantic topic as of latethe idea that our unique smells, or "pheromones", dictate attractionand now there are synthetic versions that claim to bring all the boys to the yard. So naturally, we want to put this little fragrance-esque trend to the test. One of our brave Sephora girls (let's call her "Jane") has agreed to test-drive a synthetic pheromone and keep us posted along the way. Here's her first entry.

Happy hunting, Jane!

The New York City dating scene is not an easy world to navigate, so when a co-worker asked me to test-drive a cosmetic pheromone around the city for a few weeks, I thought, “Hey, why not? It probably can’t hurt!” It's an unscented additive that you either mix with perfume or wear alone. It contains pheromones, which are the natural chemical substances omitted by a fertile woman in her 20's and 30's, conveying information and triggering responses from the opposite sex. While it doesn't guarantee results for everyone since body chemistries vary greatly, it does promise results for most when used consistently for six weeks. So is this product going to show me any tangible results? Should a 20-something gal like me even be using synthetic pheromones in the first place? Will they mask my “real” pheromones and mess with the natural attraction between me and my next potential boyfriend? I’m a little skeptical as to how this will play out, but I’m going to splash a little on every day, head out on the town and report back. Stay tuned, this should be fun!   Jane

Hi Everybody!

i've been trying to figure out a place to start the Acai free trial and was wanting to know if someone had any thoughts on whether or not the stuff works for weight loss? So far this is the only article I've been able to read that seemed realistic for the goals I have. Thoughts?
