Mother's Day Giveaway: Stila

Mother’s Day is fast approaching. (May 9!) We’re celebrating early with a week’s worth of giveaways you can share with your Mom.

Today marks the last day to win some amazing things from some of our favorite brands. In honor of their gorgeous mothers, Stila created a limited-edition Mother’s Day Set. The collection includes an Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer, all-in-one One Step PrimeColor, Lip Glaze in Mayberry, and Eye Shadow Trio in Anya ($62 Value). What could be more special for the lovely lady in your life? How about, two free sets of your own?

Five winners will each win two sets, one for you and one for your mother.

To be eligible to win, leave a comment about what you’ll be doing for your mother for her special holiday—a picnic, going to a movie, or just spending the day together? Let us know what you’re planning to do to show her your appreciation. Post your comment by 5pm PST TODAY—and don’t forget to include your name and email address!

I remind myself that I need to appreciate, love, take care of my mom 365 days a year. Not just because it's Mother's Day, and I need to do something special for my mom. EVERYDAY is mother's day! I just hug my mom and tell her that I love her very much! That is simply the an invaluable present any mother can have. To hear their children appreciate and love their mother 365 days a year! Using money to buy things for my mom will only disappoint her even more.

I'm taking spring classes at the university, so I won't be able to make it home for Mother's Day. I plan on convincing her to come down and see me so we can check out the new noodle shop that's opened downtown. And then afterward, we'll browse the shops, digging through clearance racks in the hopes of finding something good.

I live in Chicago & my parents live in North Carolina (where I grew up). My husband and I are going to NC to surprise her so that all of her daughters (3) and their spouses will be together. Since my mother lives so far away, I'm playing the Mother and taking my daughter out of town to the beach for the weekend! We're going to go on Saturday when I get off of work (yes I'll be sleepy, cause I work night shift, but she can drive and I'll sleep because it's only less than a 2hr drive) and we'll lay by the beach until it's time to check into the hotel. Then we'll grab something to eat, take a walk by the beach, do some shopping, have a good night's sleep and do it all again the next day. Needless to say we'll be using out sunscreen! We do live in Florida, you know! Can't live without that!! But, it will be a great time just to bond, Mother and Daughter! It will be so much fun, just catching up together, just the two of us, with no one else around. I love having times like that, me and her. She's my best friend and someone I can go to for anything. She's been with me for everything, all th good and bad, and she deserves some time away. This is my gift to her. Her boyfriend can watch the baby for the night, or if it's a problem, we can always bring him with us. It won't mess up the plans. It'll still be me and her. My gift to her on her first Mother's Day! I love you Tiffany. Happy Mother's Day, from your Mother!

I bought her a pair of jammies (she needs a new set of summer pajamas) and we have scheduled a foot pedicure which I will be doing myself including trimming, exfoliating, and nail polish. She has complemented me on doing it just as well as the spas! Although I'm not too sure how true that is =)

I'm getting up super early and then sneaking over to make my mom breakfast :) Then I'm taking my mom to dinner, after we go to the cemetery to plant flowers on her father's grave. He died 28 years ago on Mother's Day, so Mother's Day is always a little sad for her, so I like to cheer her up and make it as special as I can. Thanks for the chance, I love Stila!!

XOXO,
Amber

My Mother has been visiting with me since the 22nd and is leaving on the 6th. We have Done Disney a few days, Dinners, Lunches, Tea at a tea house, Flea Marketing, Colored together, done some sappy girly movies at home, cooked and Shopped! It has been an amazing few weeks with her! She lives about 2400 miles away from me so we treat the few times a year we see each other as special as we can!

My mom works her butt off everyday from her two jobs just to make life easier for her children. MY siblings and I plan to treat our mother like a queen: wait on her hand and foot, cook and clean for her, and let her relax for the entire day. She deserves a break.

On Mothers Day since I'll be halfway around the world and not with my mother I made sure that she will still feel special as always :) I have already ordered flowers for her , to me Mother's Day isn't the only day to be gracious and appreciative to my mother but it is fun to celebrate. I bought her a spa retreat gift certificate for her and her best friend since I won't be there to celebrate with her. :))

I plan to spend time with her - we've both been super busy so although we've been staying in touch we haven't seen much of each other. I'll do whatever she wants, even if it's just sit around and have coffee. I got her a necklace from Red Envelope. I also finally found a card that said everything I wanted it to say - thanking her genuinely for all that she has done for me over the years and being one of my best friends.
