Hey all you beautiful ladies, I’m literally on my way out the door to visit my parents at the beach. And we are ready to kick off the official start to summah! I’ve got my nails painted a patriotic red, rolled up a few hoodies for BBQs and nights on the bay and most importantly I’ve packed the sun protection. (And it’s worth repeating: So should you!) Here are my top picks for this holiday weekend away:
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream for Face SPF 55 ($19.50) I’ll be spending all day Saturday at a regatta, which means lots of hours on the water and in the beating sun. Packed with super antioxident powers and full-spectrum protection, this water-proof formula promises to shield me from harmful rays. And the travel size is easy to tote in my canvas tote (ha!).
Clarins Sunscreen High Protection SPF 30 ($32) Lately, I’ve been slathering on Clarins body moisturizers post-shower. This plant-based is creamy, emollient and, of course, ultra protecting.
Smashbox Limitless Long Wear Lip Gloss ($21) OK, I’m just not going to repeat my adoration of all things glossy… The Boundless shade is the perfect blend of just bitten and beachy innocence. The fact that it has SPF 15 makes it my go-to for my weekend of sand, sun and sea. --Jenna Mahoney
