This summer, Maureen Kelly and the tarte team traveled to Brazil to explore the Amazon jungle in search of nature’s most perfect ingredient: Amazonian clay. The result: 2 cutting-edge products, a finishing powder and concealer featuring clay's amazing properties of reducing dryness and flakiness, removing surface oil and dead skin, and improving clarity and elasticity.

| Seriously, how picturesque is this scenery! It was so surreal. The Amazon River flows for 4,000 miles and as it flows it collects highly nutritious plant and fruit matter. The clay gathers in the River’s basin where it is at its highest nutrient concentration. |
