Here, some beauty fun facts from a recent poll of 1,000 British women:
16 million: The average number of mascara swipes we ladies apply a year.
1,035: The amount in dollars the average woman spends on beauty in a single year.
68,055: The price of beauty over a lifetime.
880: Gallons of foundation spackled on each year. (Writer aside: Do you think tinted moisturizer is more or less?)
40: Percentage of women polled who said they wouldn’t leave home without makeup.
19: Percentage of those who said they’d rather spend less on groceries than cut their beauty budget.
5: The total average number of days a woman spends looking into a mirror.
1/4:Women who said beauty is an essential, not a luxury.
