What’s Your Skincare Regimen?

I’ve been blessed with pretty good skin. In general, the texture is smooth, I rarely experience breakouts and the only time I’ve really got any under-eye baggage is when I’m overtired. The problems I do experience are generally thanks to aging—hello, stubborn forehead lines—and picking—I know! I know, it’s bad, but I like to get the gunk out. And because my skin is so even keeled, I keep my regimen pretty bare. I’ve been using a light exfoliating facial wash followed by eye cream, an anti-aging face balm and tinted moisturizer. Once a week (OK, more like when I remember) I do a facial steam and mask. My biggest face washing trick is that I leave the cleanser on my face while I wash my hair or whatever to let the active ingredients really penetrate my skin. Sometimes, depending on the formula, it works well; other times, my face gets a little dry. Right now, though, that isn’t the problem. My skin feels pretty hydrated, but it looks dull (I know it’s the ultimate oxymoron), and—gasp—my laugh lines are becoming a little clownish. And that trifecta means it’s time for a beauty routine change. I’ve spent the good portion of the day trolling the internet for tips and advice and then I realized I’ve got the savviest community right here. Please, let me know your fail-safe face cleaning tips. cleanse and moisturize every day! use an oil free moisturizer during the day if you feel like a regular one will be too much. An anti aging formula will also prevent as well as assist with your current stuborn fine lines.

Have you tried AHA cleansers? I'm using Murad's AHA BHA cleanser right now and I see such a big difference. My skin looks brighter and feels smoother. I use this about once a week. The rest of the week, I use the Yes to Blueberries line (link if you're interested: http://bit.ly/charisse-r) ...seriously has changed the texture of my face!

I highly recommend the FAB radiance pads! I know it's exfoliating, not cleansing, but they're so easy and quick to use and the perfect solution to lackluster skin. And they're really gentle, too. They even cleared up my acne, and that's saying something because I've been battling acne for years but could never quite get rid of it all, even with regular dermatologist visits. I originally bought them thinking they would just be a good way to keep my skin looking nice through the winter, but now I can't live without them.

Having a great skin is not easy. It takes a lot of hard work and patience. Doing things the organic way is the safest way and also take time to read reviews of products that you intend to use.

Skin is the most important part of our outer body. It's the first thing that gets noticed so it is essential to take good care of it. Not one person is identical with another skin type so do research and read reviews to know the benefits of it.

I normally change my cleanser every now and then, so that my skin isn't developing an "immunity" to it.

If you like to leave your cleanser on for a while, have you tried oil cleansing method? Might help to cleanse AND moisturize those pesky lines....

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment. Best thing ever. Seriously, too many people overlook the importance of proper exfoliation.

Clean and moisturize every day. Always use the makeup removal pads. Try to use sunscreen as much as possible.

Hi there.
I think that skin is the most important part of our body, and we should do the best to keep it clean and velvety.
Thanks for the post.

Never go to bed without a clean face!
Use a vitamin c serum in the am and a moisturizer with SPF (love DDF) Then at night I use Argan Oil!
(for those pesky fine lines I use prescription retinol)

NARS skincare: Balancing cleanser, Refreshening lotion (toner hydrator and mild exfoliator), and Balancing lotion, morning and night. It keeps my skin hydrated, and calm so that I don't get breakouts, redness, or dryness.

Cleanse with water and use a very mild facial wash. Keeps moisture on skin.
