IN THEIR WORDS: “This look is true to being out in the elements and in the desert,” said Rudy Miles, lead makeup artist for Amazing Cosmetics backstage at Zang Toi. “I used gold as the accent around the rest of the eye to give it more pop and definition. ... And we skipped the blush because we wanted everything to look undone. If you add a lot of blush, it can get really heavy and not as modern. We wanted the look to be carefree. The look mirrors the Zang Toi collection: elegant, refined, and layered.”





FACE: To prepare the complexion, Miles used Amazing Cosmetics Anti Aging Face Primer, evening out skintone with AmazingConcealer. VelvetMineral Liquid, Custom Finish Foundation SPF 15 (new for spring) was used for a dewy look, set by a light dusting of PowderSet translucent powder. For a fresh and modern look, Miles skipped blush altogether.

EYES: Bronze shadow from the Bronze Quad was applied to the eyelid, followed by black powder liner from the Bronze Quad to line. Sapphire shadow from the Limited Edition Zang Toi for Amazing Cosmetics (new for spring) Collection was applied for the blue smoky effect. For a naturally defined brow, Miles used Amazing Cosmetics Brow Gel + Lash Primer-in-one combined with Amazing Cosmetics Brow Powder. He finished off the look with a few swipes of Amazing Cosmetics Mascara in Black.


LIPS: Amazing Concealer was mixed with Amazing Cosmetics Lipcolor in Olivia for a subtle blush-nude lip.
