Simply too risky! I purchased RL and started to use it as directed. After 4-6 weeks I did notice an improvement in length and thickness but also experienced pressure in my eyeballs and blurred vision the following day, it also made my my eyes ache. I was absolutely fastidious about using the right amount so as not to get it in my eyes. When I ceased using it the above subsided. This product is now sitting in the bathroom bin. Ladies, it's a gamble and has to be a judgement call only you can make. Take care - great care!

I used revitalash for about 8 months a few years ago so I don't know what formula it was. My girlfriend who had lost her lashes due to chemo sent me a tube. It really did work. After about six months I noticed I was losing more lashes than usual and I started to wonder what would happen if I stopped. Would all my lashes fall out? I stopped using it and my lashes are fine as they were before. I had a few bald spots at first but they grew back. I have good lashes anyhow and I always use mascara. The box I had never had the ingredients listed and I always wondered what the active ingredient was.

no matter what I wont exchange my revitalash, it's a miracle product for me, having had extentions for awhile I will stick with revitalash.. My eyelash tech is wonderful but after awhile it's hard for your lashes to have glue on them all the time and after a few months I had super short lashes, now they are thick and beautiful. I am in love with this product.

What is that secret ingredient with a "mide" in it again? The FDA needs to clamp down ASAP, and in this case buyer beware, you have options for big lashes that are safe or are monitored.

Hey Mckell, glad you are getting the results that you are seeking. How do you define results....as a consumer does that mean longer and thicker "looking eyelashes"? Or does it mean changes in celluar activity, which result in Longer and Thicker eyelashes. The later part of the sentence is kind of the drug definition of a product. This is the problem the industry through symantics in its claims, is not telling the customer the full story....How do you get those results, and what is changing in your physiology to get them. The larger concern, would be that any old fool can no go to the drug compendium and find side effects. Find a side effect, that make skin smoother, put that drug in a cream and sell it. No proper clinical trials to at least demonstrate safety. FYI Some people in Europe died using a Nano Skin cream, b/c the active agents we so small, they got past the skin and were absorbed. That is what these products, and even non-drug based products should require proper clinical evaluation prior to market entry. Worse though, these product have their roots in drugs, and still do not have clinical safety data. Who knows what the long term effects are going to be, and the FDA is supposed to protect the public, using rules . I would pull these products off the market, until clinical testing for safety was done, especially since they come from known therapeutic treatments with known side effects and contra-indications.

Oh...forgot to mention Jamestown and the Kool-aid. They told everyone it was just Kool-Aid. It was after all the same colour, had sugar and smelt the same. They did not however mention the little extra ingredient that they added. They say don't drink the Kool-Aid, how about don't use the eyelash conditioner. At least the companies that make the agents can tell the customer what the special secret ingredient is, that has a "mide" at the end of it. The FDA is looking at these agents, and Allergen has taken the makers to court over patents on use of Prostaglandin Analogues for eyelash growth. It has been understood that these agents to have these Prostagladin Analogues. If that was not the case, Allergen would have been tossed out with its claim. After all if they had no Prostagladin Analogues, Athena would not even have a case. Having said that, Allergen might not have a valid patent on it claim...for the courts to decide.

I have nice blue eyes, and want to keep them that way. I understand many of the new effective Eyelash growth products do not contain the Prostagladin Analogues like Latisse and RevitaLash have. Read something about peptides in some products like Jan Marini and now new nano peptides in the most innovative ones. I am trying to eat clean chemical free foods, exercise and have good health. I have to question applying a glaucoma drug to my eyelids everyday, when options are available? I guess something that can change my eye colour permanently could be doing other things when it get absorbed?

I have been using RevitaLash for my eyelashes and RevitaBrow for my eyebrows for a while now and have yet to experience any side effects. I'm definitely getting the results I wanted, though.
