I like playing with new foundations here and there, but I have long been faithful to both Stila and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers(both of which offer oil-free and non oil-free formulas, I'm a fan of the oil-free). I think tinted moisturizers are a great starting point for people who are used to going au naturel because its pretty fool proof and it will help you get used to the feeling of having makeup on your skin. I say use tinted moisturizer for awhile to start with and then move onto foundation if you think you need the extra coverage.

The key to a good BE application is buffing.
